Based on this review we gave the fish fry a go. The drive from Madison was pleasant and it's just far enough away that it feels like a destination. The bar area has a great down-home WI feel and the bartender let us transfer our tab to the table, which is a nice touch.

The food was fine, nothing too special. I'm a hard-core fish fry fanatic and I give this place a solid C. I'd try it again during the colder winter months. I like the idea of being snugged up to the bar with an Old Fashioned watching the snow come down.

Thanks for the review!
