Latest Big Ten Pub news and reviews

JM ate the chicken fajita sandwich with fries and a lemonade.
Nichole ate Garren's stuffed grilled cheese with wedge fries and a cherry (grenadine) Coke.
The bill was $16, or $8/person, plus tip.
JM gave Jordan's Big Ten Pub a B; Nichole gave Jordan's Big Ten Pub an A- (see our grading rubric).

The obvious question is whether this venue should be found in the B's or the J's. But no matter.

Despite a menu describing its French dip sandwich as "sliced top sirloin dipped in fresh au jus," Big Ten Pub has a lot going for it. The server came over right as we were settling into our booth, and we never wanted for refills. They serve Stewart's soda. And their wedge fries were awesome, coated in a sour cream and chive batter and velvety warm inside.

"Garren's stuffed grilled cheese" was a hit featuring sauteed green peppers, mushrooms, onions and bacon between layers of cheese and crunchy bread. JM was a little less pleased with his sandwich, saying he had to eat it like a ravenous dingo or it would've gotten too soggy.

I doubt if you go back and read these, but I thought this as good as place as any to log on and start "Commenting". I saw you placed in the "Best Madison Blog" category and was in heaven. I remember hearing about your quest a while ago, but couldn't find the site. And here it is.
As a solid mixture of Nichole (Love of new, exotic, different, never been to, resturants/food, and JM (Lover of lists and all things catagorized and orginized) throw in the fact I'm all about Madison (See also, Dane, Wisconsin) and that I'm blessed with a beautiful, caring wife...that weighs 105 soaking wet and eats nothing but popcorn and McFlurries...and I'm in love with not only this site, but the IDEA of this site. I've been to many of these resturants, but because of the restrictions of my wife's "Diet" not near as many as I would like, I feel I shall now live vicariously (SP) through this blog.
I chose this as my jumping off site because the one thing that interested me is no resturant, of all the great and miserable ones, you've yet commented, as triggered as much response response as "Big Mike's Super Subs" ! Hmm, a social commentary waiting to happen.

Mr. Otter, don't forget that all new comments posted show up on the main page almost immediately. So yes, everyone knows when someone has made a new comment on an old review.

There are a few other reviews that have caused more discussion, see if you can find 'em!
