Bahn Thai

Reconstructed from memory after we lost our notebook...
In a word: Yum!

The specs: #0020
Address, hours & details via Isthmus; reviews at Veggie Variant (Dane101) and Yelp; Bahn Thai Restaurant on Urbanspoon

JM ate the sweet and sour chicken and a Sprecher ginger ale.
Nichole ate the chicken curry (she thinks) and a Dr. Pepper with steamed taro root for dessert.
JM and Nichole both gave Bahn Thai an A (see our grading rubric).

Latest Bahn Thai news and reviews

After our house closing, we celebrated with lunch at Bahn Thai on the way to the ReStore. It was absolutely delightful. JM's dish was full of vibrant fresh veggies and pineapple, and the sauce was balanced - no sickly-sweet syrup here. Nichole's curry was populated with decoratively sliced veggies and thin, savory slices of chicken. The service was excellent too. One little thing - don't be in a hurry to eat and run, as you'll just stress yourself out and spoil a great meal.

The best curry dishes I've ever eaten. Thick and full of flavor. Yes, service is slow, but it's worth it!

Just ate there for lunch and couldn't be happier. The curries were top-notch, and the variations on a sweet & sour were excellent. Some of the best spring rolls we've had in years. Slower, relaxed service, but will go again.
