In a word: Burger King has offered better.

JM ate the grilled ham and cheese with fries and a lemonade.
Nichole ate the Cajun burger with chicken noodle soup and a Winter Skal.
The bill was $18, or $9/person, plus tip.
JM and Nichole gave Buck's Madison Square a C (see our
grading rubric).
Buck's Madison Square (soon to be Buckinghams, cue nostalgia) is all about location. Nestled near the Kohl Center on Regent St., it probably serves big crowds on game day, but doesn't seem likely to be hiding any culinary gems. The food wasn't bad; it was just boring.
JM's ham and cheese (#44) may have gotten a pass, being by nature a reliable, plain sandwich. It's just toast, you know? The fries also offered not much in the way of surprise. But the menu made the Cajun burger sound edgy, something hot! hot! hot! you don't take home to Mother. In truth it was a handmade patty (a plus) but the secret spices seemed to be just oregano (a minus) and there was absolutely no heat in it - more neat freak than Super Freak. The chicken soup was fine.
We liked our server, and the place was clean. Otherwise, meh.
