JM ate the hot ham and cheese with fries and a lemonade.
Katie ate the BSR club with fries and a lemonade.
Matt ate the BSR burger, medium, with fries and a lemonade.
Nichole ate the cod on a kaiser roll with pasta salad and a Leinie's.
JM, Katie, and Nichole gave Branch St. Retreat a B-; Matt gave it a C+ (see our grading rubric).

We're sure that the large distance between tables is great for large parties of merrymakers after a day of work.  But we were about the largest party (save the regulars playing pool) on our night.  While the tables were mostly empty, the bar was quite crowded, maybe due in part to the interesting (read: small) top worn by the female bartender. This retreat is a lot more bar than restaurant.

Katie said she couldn't tell the difference between the turkey and the swiss. The cod was clearly a warmed up frozen patty and the pasta, while OK, was probably from Sam's Club. The sandwiches are not that great - you can find better without going too far. It was our own damn fault that the fries were dark because that's what you get for going out on a Thursday.

Oh, and be sure to enjoy both of the two extant copies of their menu.
